Several folks here have said to get a good feel for how it handles on the open road, turn off your OD, and this is about how many RPM you will be pull WHEN IN OVERDRIVE AFTER you get the 4.10's. At any speed, you will be pulling like 20% more RPM's than with the stock rear. That seems like a lot to me. I have given up on 4.10's, and if I do anything, I figure it will be 3.73's. The 4.10 RPMS scare me.

You have to understand your car in underpowered from the factory.

It is a given that you want as much gear as you can have.

4.10 gears are an excellent choice.

I don't think it's that simple. If you do a lot of highway driving, in the 70 MPH range and even above, you will be cranking seriously more RPM's. If you want to keep the engine for 100,000 miles, there is no questions these extra RPM's will add up. If you are mostly around town, and want to snap your neck, and spend most of your time 50 MPH and under, then 4.10's make sense. The 4.10's don't "make" any power. The engines power is 210 HP. The 4.10's make torque, at the expense of turning higher RPM's to accomplish the same speed. Your mileage will suffer.
