Had the H-pipe installed and the sound is way better than the "high pitched "rattle" at higher rpms.
The sound is more mellower and less annoying. The chrome tips look way cool too!! FYI

Good stuff, I look forward to your exhaust clip (hint hint). Is your H-pipe an all-weld job, or did they clamp the different pieces together?

I'm considering getting the same exhaust set-up you have. H-pipe with dual flowmasters. I want a deep throaty sound and I think this is the best way to get it. My question is: is the difference in sound between dual GT take-off mufflers vs. the flowmasters worth the extra cash? I've listened to soundclips of flowmasters and GT's but it's hard to appreciate the true difference between the two without physically being there to hear it.

in my opinion YES but others will tell you that they like the sound of the gt take offs.
I have dual flowmaster 40 series with a custom h pipe and it sounds great

Its an all weld job. Came out good I watched the guy do it.
Sounds way smoother and not raspy when you rev it.
I think Flowmasters are worth the extra cash; they're not that much more really. And when its done you'll be grinning down the highway for years to come!!

Heh, I was gonna ask that question too.

How long does the work take? To make the H-pipe, install it and the mufflers?

My guy charged me $80 to weld the H pipe in there. Took him about 2 hours, a bit less. I had straight throughs before. The $80 included chrome tips too! Looks cool and sounds mellower yet deep and rich. I heard Y pipe set ups make the car high pitched (ricers!! yuck) so I went with the H. Everyone says best choice. I do notice a difference.

Should only take about 15 mins to fab up an H pipe. All that is done is one hole is burned through each pipe with a torch and then a cross pipe is welded in.

So if I get an H-pipe made do I need to give any type of measurments or anything? Or do I just say, "make me an h-pipe please and install it."?
