Okay well I am looking at putting some forced induction on my car. I'm looking at Vortech, Procharger, and the X-charger. Vortech and Procharger from what I know (Im a total F/I noob) get about the same results. Right now I am leaning towards a procharger because I've seen them around for about 3800 on a 9 psi intercooled kit. Vortech is around the same price for the same boost, intercooled. I thought about the x-charger, and the thing in my mind that its got going for it is the safety, simplicity, and the instant boost. On the other hand, I am looking to eat up stock GT's and from what I see on the numbers it doesnt look like that's going to happen. Right now I'm probably going to grab that 3800$ intercooled procharger and run it 7-9 psi. And whoever can link me to a powerhouse turbocharger page please do so, I cannot find it but I have heard good things as well! Thanks guys, please leave your opinion.
BTW, I have a bone stock 2006 V6 5 spd.

Try this link, maybe it will help you decide. BTW: From what I've read on this forum and others, Procharger is a good choice but there are some parts availability and customer service issues. The latest one I've read was ricklmesa, you might want to PM him or search his posts.

If money is not an issue for you, go with the PowerHouse turbo. It simply can't be beat. There are drawbacks, however... such as a more involved installation, tapping the oil pan, and difficulty in modding the exhaust later on down the road.
I went with the ProCharger because I got a smoking deal. My setup has evolved quite a bit since I ordered the 9 psi kit with 3-core intercooler. I'm now running a D1SC blower with about 14lbs of boost at 6100rpm. I have no idea how much HP I'm making right now. I just haven't had the time/energy to get to a dyno since I've been at school here in Mississippi. I'll probably just dyno it when I get home.
There have been some complaints about ATI's customer service... most from Rick. Personally, they have literally bent over backwards for me. My blower had a persistent leak that they couldn't fix, so they upgraded me to a D1SC. The leak was very minute... just enough to keep the bottom of the blower wet, but it was still enough to bother me. I never had to add oil or anything, since the oil level was always good. They were awesome about fixing it. Not to mention, they ship out a next day air label (via next day air) so your downtime is limited.
Sure, I've had some problems with my kit, but I'm 100% happy with my decision. In the end, I'll never make as much HP at the same psi as the PH411, but the car is absolutely insane! I couldn't ask for more (for now). :)
