What kinda stang are you running in, what's your stock hp and your estimated hp(if you have mods)? More than likely you'll take him, like I said he'll run around a 15.0 - 15.2 quarter mile.
Oh I should take him easily then....Im in a 2001 GT 5 speed 260hp and 302 lb-ft of torque...MUCH wider power band than an LB9....I've seen times from 13.9 to 14.8 stock...I'm a pretty good driver, my only mod is a CAI...so I bet I could run between a 14.3 - 14.7.....
Peak numbers can fool you sometimes, it makes the cars look pretty close, that's why I figured I'd ask a chevy guy

Yeah, I especially like the style like yours with the spoiler and ground effects....those L98's had some SERIOUS torque, but I heard they dont breathe for sh*t...
my brother-in-law swears the 1LE's run 13's....I told him they don't, plus his 1le even though it was supposed to have the radio and ac delete's, his had them added back on anyway, so he just has the bigger sways and brakes..those dont help him in a drag race

Yeah, the L98's were all low-end motors... the previous owner made the mistake of putting a wicked High-End intake on my Camaro with stock heads/cam, so my Camaro doesn't run as fluently as it should. I can run 60ft's with anyone, but I just have no high-end power. As for breathing, a new exhaust on stock setup can REALLY open up things... I have Flowtech shorty hedders with 3in pipe. I'm running Heddman longtubes with 2.5in true duals in the next week or two, gonna be pretty flipping wild.
As for your brother in law... NO 3rd Gen Camaro ran stock 13's. NO 3rd Gen Camaro ran faster than around a 14.4(with great driver) Stock.
