My brother recently bought a 96 Cobra, which is a huge upgrade from his old 91 prelude. Last night he told me he would give me $1000 when he sold his prelude. A guy stopped by today and wanted to buy it, he said he'd stop by tomorrow and get everything worked out. With this money I'm positive I want to put it into my car. I still need a few minor things like a new headliner and well I guess thats about it. I was considering saving up for a 6-speed transmission, or a 347 stroker. Although I'm not really sure what I should do. Anyone have any suggestions?
Well I'm assuming that your motor is stock and that you've still got the ol 7.5" rear end in there from the swap??? I'd upgrade to the 8.8 and throw some 3.90s or 3.73s in that biatch. Save up the money for a H/C/I swap.

Heads cam and intake. I think that the TF street heat combo is worth about 320 hp at the flywheel. It's going to cost you about 2500 bucks though, keep saving! If it's buring a hole in your pocket though, get some gears, about 400-500 for labor/parts, it's the #1 mod that you can do to that car.
