Okay, i'm finally taking the leap and getting an exhaust. Should I just stay single or go dual. I don't mind cutting the bumper or cost. I just want a really good sound, don't really care about performance either, naturally i don't wanna lose any though. What does everyone think. Right now i'm pretty much sold on JBA with H-Pipe. Anyone think i should go with a different setup?

I bought a pair of GT takeoffs off of e-bay and installed the single with the idea of adding the second within a week or so. I ended up sticking with the single since I liked the sound, performance and mpg improvements. Not mind boggling improvements, but improvements none the less. For me, the cost was not worth the expected HP gains (2-3 HP). Plus I like the idea of my car looking, performing and sounding like a 6, not an 8. The duals definantly look better and sound better, but for me the cost vs. gain factor wasn't worth it. Just my 2 cents. It's really a personal preference.

JBA makes a good product. I say go for it! If money isn't an issue definately get the duals.

Okay, thanks for the reply's. I'm going to order the JBA Duals with H-Pipe this week; however, I am going to hold off on the jba headers for a couple of weeks. Does anyone have experience with the JBA Shorties?

I'm very pleased with my GT take-off single for the same reason as above, it's a V-6 and will never sound like an 8. I like the sound and the car performs well, with the addition of a K&N air filter (drop-in).

Yeah, I like my single GT, but my other one is just sitting up there on the shelf all lonely.

So, i'm noticing that almost everyone is going with the single jba axleback or single gt takeoff

I'm going to get a muffler shop to fab up a custom H-Pipe and throw in a pipe to make it dual with GT take-off mufflers. If I end up going through with my grand plans for my car I'll throw in some magnaflow dual's. I'm in it mainly so that my new GT rear bumper doesn't look gay with only one pipe.

I'm not really sure how I'll mount my second GT takeoff. A part of me wants to just hang the sucker and have a shop connect it to the mid-pipe (downstream from the existing Y) in effect, making two Y's. This way, the existing Y remains fully intact and untouched.

On the other hand, would an H-pipe sound significantly better? I can't find any exhaust clips of dual GT's with a Y-pipe for comparison.
