Oh, crap! I'm runnin' true duals with GT take-offs but after that sound clip - American Thunders are my next upgrade. BTW what's the sound level inside the cabin?

Inside the cabin with the windows down its sorta just a background noise almost, still noticable but not much, but with the windows down its just "flipping smurf"

hey that sounds really good... were those the american thunders that were made for the GT or the ones that were made for the V6 and if they were for the V6 where did you get ahold of a drivers side one?

They were made for the GT and IDK if its in my head or not, but my car feels more "tourqy" gogin from a dead stop too 60 seems to take nowhere near the same time as b4, maybe its teh custom made piping ehhh lol?

thats cool... I was thinking about going with those but with an H pipe just to get a little deeper tone. I think I would rather go with the ones that were made for the V6 just because in the diagram that I saw they look like they have more flow and may have a deeper sound, but I dont think I can get ahold of one for the drivers side. I could only see the direct replacement passenger side. So unless anybody knows where I can get one for the drivers side I will probably end up goin with the V8 ones.

i think the only duals youll find are the GT version, and trust me these are plenty deep at idle , the video like ive stated in previous post does the mufflers no real justice in sound, i drove past justin_r's house b4 and he thought it was his neighbors vette lol.

awesome... I will have to look into it... did you get yours from a muffler shop or did you buy them online?

Theres not really a "made for the gt" or "made for the v6" version of most mufflers. Its either they sell you two of them or just the appropriate side. The part number for the muffler itself is the same gt or v6.

well actually there is a difference. the one that they made for the V6 has less flow restrictions on the inside of the muffler and the tip is 3.5" instead of 4". they have a diagram of it on flowmasters website
