s/c or nitrous. These are the best mods to increase HP. Gears are a good mod as well. They don`t increase HP, but they do give you better acceleration.

So when it comes to the basic HP gain changing the spark plugs, putting in a cold air induction system, changing the spark plug wires, and getting a new rotor cap seems to work right other than a little better fuel economy right?

A CAI plus a full tuneup (inc plugs cables & cap) will get you an extra 5hp tops.. you're not gonna notice it. Those things can help fuel economy quite a bit though.

Best hp bang for the buck is NOS.

Your cheapest free hp will come with a more precise and aggressive tune, achieved with a hand held tuner. You could easily pick up 20-30 hp, and increse your fuel economy at the same time.

super charger or nos but to have that hp thats always there supercharger, what i meen by always there is you have to hit a nos button. superchargers are great i got a paxton and that things nice i dont have it on right now but it ads 40% to 50% power. a decent supercharger will get you the power you want

first you want more power than all of a sudden you want fuel economy? you should probly decide what you want before asking questions, just get a 4 cyl turbo stang if you want some fuel economy or a honda

Sure, superchargers and turbos will give you a huge boost in power, but those mods are very costly. The average supercharger kit is between $3,000 to $4,000 with some even topping out much higher yet. Usually power increases and economy do not go hand in hand. Freeing up your air flow will make your engine breathe easier which usually equates to a few more miles to the gallon over the road. You can accomplish this with improved intake (CAI, TB & plenum) and a freer flowing exhaust. Exhausts can go the catback root, with or without "H" or "X" pipes, as well as shorty or long tube headers. For the quickest sensation of speed increase (acceleration), without doing anything else to you car whatsoever, GEARS are the way to go. If you are sensitive to mileage, I would say to go with the Ford Racing 3.73's. 4.10's are also an option. Basic rule of thumb is 3.73 with a standard tranny and 4.10 with an auto tranny. You will l-o-v-e them. Keeps your cars existing power curve always in the sweet spot for instant acceleration. Start there, you won't be disappointed!
