My Stang has just gone through a rough patch here. I took her in for warrenty today for the engine light coming on, an "oil" film on the outside of one of the gaskets on the bottom of the engine, and other various little things. The engine light was related to the "oil" film, only it wasn't oil.... it was melted undercoating. There was an exhaust leak at the manifold and the exhaust gases melteb the undercoating . So everything wasfigured out and covered under warrenty. Its all good now, right??? It would have been except for about 1/2 hour later I was doing some errands around town when it sounded kinda like I ran over a bottle or something that was accompanied by a hissing sound, only there was no bottle... only pavement. I pulled over and saw "anti-freeze" pissing out. GREEEAAAT! So back to the dealership, a mechanic came out and saw that it was actually air conditioning oil, not anti-freeze. So here I am, waiting at home to get my stang back, for the second time today.... Only upside is that they are fixing it right away on a saturday. Hopefully this time bad things come in 2's (actually 2 things were fixed the first time so i guess I'm covered either way) .

thats odd, EVAP emessions shouldnt have a color, which means they put a dye in your system looking for a leak the first time.. and guess what.. lol they found it, unfortuanlty you were driving it after they thought there was no leak, and i bet the first time the engine light was on, was for an EVAP code

It was for some kinda of exhaust code since there was a leak near the manifold. Turned out that it was lucky that the A/C leak happened the same day and they could just add it onto the work order or else I would have had to make another appointment in about 2 weeks .

That sounds horrible.

I am glad you are ok and nothing happened while in the middle of a highway. How long have you had your car?

~14 months but I stored it for the winter (Northern Canadaina Winter= 6 months). I sure hopes that's all for warrenty as I'm going to be adding a CAI, Exhaust, Tuner, LSD & Gears in the next couple of weeks.
