Check Evolution Performance's website. They have a tuner/cai combo that is very popular and reasonably priced.

Just do a search for CAI and youll get more than you ever wanted to know, alot of the sponsors on here will sell you a CAI and a tuner as a package deal. Check out tunable induction, evolution and a few other.

Sorry, gotta get the leg hump out of the way first. It's my duty as official MF leg humper/aka welcoming committee for the women. Didn't do it earlier because of the turmoil.

Anyways, Local pretty much has given you a good order to go with.
Links...

www.rpmoutlet.com
http://www.mustangtuning.com/
http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/
http://www.brothersperformance.com/
and a ton of others.

Just do a google search for '05 mustang performance' or 06 mustang performance

P.S. you have officially been leg humped

Have we scared away any female forum members? Personally I think the women on this board find it amusing at how immature we can be.

I know I love to push my wifes buttons just to see her get all bent sometimes

okay, gonna not try to sound like a typical girl but...

lets say money is no object (but i dont wanna spend TOO much, keep it within 3k), and i ask you to take my money and my car and make it faster

what EXACTLY would you do, what exactly would you buy, etc?

you guys know more than me, so when you say "buy one of this", there's still lots of options

for example, someone said supercharger...okay, whats the best supercharger i can get and wheres the link to it?

sanx !!

xoxo,

kari

Gee that's not a typical girl comment

CAI+Tuner will run about $400-500
Rear gears like 3.93 or 4.10 will run about $200-300
Headers + Exhaust not sure about the new mustangs but I'm guessing about $700-1000
UDP (Underdrive pulleys) about $200-300
Here is where the cross roads are at...nitrous or forced induction. With what's left you won't have enough for forced induction so Nitrous is your best choice. I don't know enough about nitrous to make a recommendation or to give you an estimate.

Keep in mind those prices do not include installation. You can do most yourself if you have the motivation too and access to tools but I would recommend the Nitrous kit and the gears you have professionally installed. Too many simple things that can go wrong and cause major headaches or worse, damage your car.

If I had unlimited money - - I would drop it off at the local speed shop and rent a car for 2 weeks!

Tell them "I only want one thing - - this car to be as fast as you can make it!"...

Then pick it up when they are done and write them a check!

how much power do you want? if you want a street friendly F/I go with the xcharger. it will be 4200 (i think) which includes the tuner from doug at bamachips.
if you want it at the track go with the PH turbo. its more expensive, and it doesnt have as much low end torque as the x charger, but it does put out about 40 more hp. the turbo is not as friendly on the street.
explorer express hasnt updated there site yet...they make the x charger. you can always order it from **** like i said.
the turbo is at www.powerhouse411.com
vortech makes a very friendly kit. i personally dont like it b/c its a centrifugal s/c and i just dont likem, but to each his/her own i guess.

again this is my view on things, if i'm wrong someone correct me please.
