SALEEN Front License Plate Mount Now Available!!!! - 7/21/2006 12:10:26 PM    SaleenR   Posts: 3 Joined: 6/27/2006 Status: offline We will now be offering the front plate mounts for the 05+ S281's They will however, require drilling. The installation process shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. The mounts will be available through our aftermarket department here at Saleen. (949) 597-4900 We would also like to invite everyone to come and check out The Saleen Store, opening July 29th, at the Irvine Spectrum here in Irvine C.A.. Saleen isn't the only company with communication issues. I am sure all of us have this issue where we work. I am fabricating my own mount Sunday. I don't have shop tools but will make something work so I can drive my car without getting pulled over. I picked up the $0.50 black plastic bracket today. It looks just like the one I had on my 1997 Cobra. 2 or 4 holes in the bumper and mount the plate. Someone had posted if they thought it was bad we were having to pay for this item. I could not agree more. This type of part should be included and has been with every car I have bought. Again, I thought that Saleen would have something different. Not a standard black plastic plate holder for $40.
