Guess I'm a little late but if anyone has any questions about this blower, or wants to know what it's potential is, feel free to post here or pm me. I've pretty much got it dialed in. I also know where to get pulleys and intercooler upgrades specifically for this model. I'm making 408 rwhp with 411 torque.

Price PM's sent up till now, gonna take a break from it, I've easily sent over 20 PM's now If you want the price, do like I did and e-mail THR!
02GT, the guy in that thread who said it wouldn't fit under the stock hood was one of the guys who came in here asking if it would fit. Birdieman has some credit, but I do believe it will fit under the stock hood. It's a small blower. The Series V however, very likely not, but Saleen designed the Series IV kit for a stock 2v GT and when I was e-mailing them a while ago about it they said the kit has everything you need, nothing extra is necessary (meaning no need for a new hood).
I've got the series IV. and technically, NO it will NOT FIT UNDER THE STOCK HOOD. Atleast, not the way you would expect it to. you have to remove, atleast part of the heat shield. There is no way to avoid this, The belt/pulley at the end of the snout will cause friction with the heat shield. What's worse is that after removing this small portion of heat shield, i had a problem where the paint spider cracked because of the heat. This is just in front of the scoop so it is a noticeable area for any people that are really picky however noone else but me seems to notice it unless I point it out. This happened after alot of hard driving. I've got no plans to change the hood right now though cause it's not that big of a deal.

Damn the fee to get it for 12 months same as cash is almost $300, i might as well save up and pay the 4k for it vs almost paying the same amout to get it with their credit card!! But where exactly does the heat exchanger and intercooler go? I cant find any pics of it!!
The cooler is similar to that of the 03/04 Cobras. It sits in a bath of coolant just below the blower itself.
uhh, it doesn't sit in a bath. the intercooler is roughly 10 inches long, 4 inches wide and 4 inches deep, it's copper and made but garret. It has pretty tight fins. It has a tube that carries water through it but the water stays in the pipes. The heat is transfered to the metal fins from the air, and from the metal fins to the water, which is pumped along to cool off up front. There are two fittings that come out the back the internal heat exchanger (which sticks out of the back of the intake). The fittings are to hoses. One comes from the front heat exchanger, the other goes to the coolent resovoir which sits just next to your radiator. The coolant resovoir has a hose that goes to the pump which sits inside your front bumper next to the front heat exchanger. There is one fuse in the system as well. The pump turns on roughly 30 seconds after you power the car. There are also two fans that sit behind the front heat exchanger which sits directly in front of the radiator but down low. They make a steady hum when they are active.

Ok I was wondering before I make my final decision, what kind of MPGs are we looking at, would I be forced to use premium gas, and do I have to tap into the oil pan for this kit?
MPG would suffer slightly but you'd have a hell of alot more power. premium gas is recommended but if you're cheap, use regular and stay out of boost which is pretty easy (just don't floor it). No need to tap the oil pan. This kit is self oiled. It has a tiny allen wrench type of screw in dip-stick on top. I think you change the oil maybe once every 50k miles. There are some care instructions on whipples site.

So can i put my accufab 70mm t/b on it?? And is there a place to tap into on the s/c for a boost gauge?? And how much Whp will i see with 4 psi? with 9??
you can use the t/b last i checked, and the boost gauge gets tapped into any intake vacuum line. you should see at least 350 at the wheels.
It'll actually take up to 75mm tb just fine.
350 to the wheels on stock boost will require atleast a cold air intake, a TB, a cat-back, and maybe an x-pipe. 330 is more realistic in stockish form. However, torque should be 340+

Ok guys i am tired of looking around trying to find pics but does anyone know where i can get pics of a complete install or pics of EVERYTHING that comes with the kit????????? I still dont understand how the heat exchanger and intercooler works on these cars!!! mhelp me out!
EDIT: just found some new info - So does the heat exchanger act as a raidator and a external water pump pushes the water through that and then to the intercooler which is mounted right under the s/c and the air from the s/c blows over the intercooler???????? Did i get that right? I would still like more pics if possible though! And what the small external mounted tank for? a resivior?
This info is basically correct. Resovoir to pump, pump to front heat-exchanger, front heat-exchanger, to internal heat-exchanger(intercooler), Intercooler to resovoir.
