Last but not least.. lol

Our sixers come with an ok front sway. I was once tempted to buy the Saleen GT takeoff.
But since I bought the rear, went ahead and got the front from Hellwigh at the MF group buy price.
Again, Nancy was very helpful and knew exactly what I needed and had my order down in no more than four minutes!
The front sway from Hellwigh is again SOLID, (28lbs), and adjustable. (Normal, agressive, super agressive? lol)

Install:

Instructions state the the load of the car should be on the suspension. (ie: dont jack it up for front and rear sways)
I drove it up on just a nice wide peice of wood. (Lowered cars may need taller piece for clearance)
*Also remember to chock the rear wheels.

Slide under and first bring your attention to either side of the sway.
* A 3/4 wrench/ratchet is very popular with this car, so I learned today.

Unbolt either side, but once you have broke the nut loose, I suggest a small vise-grip to clap down the bolt it is on because it twists with you.
Both side off, now bring your attention to the forward brackets. four bolts in all. ( I -beleive- a 5/8. Long cylinder wratchet is a must)

Not much prep for new sway. Just easily slide the poly bushing on the bar with the precut slits in them.
Replacing the bar was "fun" ,a 28lb solid steel bar on your chest while sliding under is uncomfortable at best.

Rebolt the sides first so you have the bar mounted and not in your way. Choose your driving style with corresponsing hole. Rebolt front brackets.

Done!

By far the easier of my suspension mods done.
Improvement? As a total of front and rear, yes. There is a bit more of response and control with middle hole. (I'm sure third hole is quite a difference)

Any questions? Just ask!

how much did it cost you all together? (front and rear + shipping) and was the handling result really worth the $$?

Total for front and rear was $250. Shipping... I didn't get a quote when I ordered, nor did I see one on the invoice
The improved handling has me satisfied. On a sharp turn, there is very little play with the wheel; very responsive.
I may in the future set the front sway (and/or rear) to the more agressive setting.

Any noticable difference with just a front sway bar?

Sorry I didn't get back to your question sooner.
To be quite honest, I really won't know the actual difference of a "no rear/new front" combo.
When I did the installs, I put both on at the same time. I would have taken her out for a test drive,
but it was getting late and I didn't want to have to continue the work tommorow.

As a whole though, the front does make an improvement. Certainly because it is larger than the V6 stock,
but also I set it to a more aggressive setting on the strut links. Drives great!
