i got a 67' 289 and wanted to know if anyone with a car similar has put carpet in theirs with the orig a/c unit still in.

I have it is no big deal why would the a/c be of a concern. Do you have the unit below the dash if so it is not factory orginal. it is either aftermarket or dealer installed

yea it's the dealer's doing back in 67' and is under the dash
