just beautiful, definetly would'nt have a problem being seen in that bada** ride. I have seen that lambo door kit on ebay, but those tailights don't know as i've seen them. Maybe it's the mod you did on them, outstanding! I have seen that carbonfibor hood on ebay. anyhow great job!

I have been thinking about having the doors swing up like that. HOw much work had to be done and do you have any problems with it?
Example Door doesn't open, leaking from seals etc..

thanks everybody. to answer some of your ???s. the taillights were customized. fuel door was from uprproducts.com. doors set me back approx. $1800. can be diy if you've got the time. no real problems with the doors. just need to be careful because they will rest on the outer a-pillar. i guess that's what they're called. minor tweaks here and there to make doors sit right. because i shaved the doors and put in poppers, i've had to tweak them to work pretty seamlessly.

Bigbadracer808 - HOT!! Screw them all man,its your car,if you like it,thats all that matters. That said.IMO-I'm not too hot on the decklid spoiler and front bumper/chin spoiler. But thats just me,I like my cars to look fast but through simplicity(hence the wheels n stripes for me).But I LOVE those taillights, now I want a newer mustang just so I can do what you did with those lights.Thats the sign of a good design,it promotes inspiration.

aj7734 - DAMN!! Your car just looks plain ol' intimidating!! Dont change it!! Damnit!!Honestly,I dont like the big shopping cart handle wings, but on your car it fits it perfectly unlike many I've seen.

SMOKE - If I was to buy a newer mustang and build it up,I would model it after your car.Simplicity at its finest, yet it looks like it'll smoke the doors off many many cars.

My hats off to you guys.On the other hand,USAmuscle and fuzi0nz,your not too bright. He's not trying to make it look like a Honda dumbass,he's making it into HIS MUSTANG.I'd like to see you guys post your rides on this thread. If your gonna critique his car,let him(and the rest of us) critique yours.Heres my ride below with the only view you two would ever see unless your coming the other way or she's parked.

All I have to say is VERY, VERY impressive Bigbadracer808. I can definitely appreciate all the hard work you put into your stang to make it look like that. Personally I don't know if I want to show you what my stang looks like because yours makes mine look like an embarassment. But on the other hand it is mine and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Congrats on a job well done!!!

Yes, it's an 03 GT, NOT a Cobra of any sort. The guy I bought it from was in love with Cobras but couldn't afford one (how surprising?). At any rate, I'm not changing. I'm not taking off the Cobra badges, not taking off the Cobra front/rear, dude, he even put in a cobra steering wheel! I'm not changing it, but I'll tell ya what, I am going to make her faster than a stock 03 or 04 Cobra so I can at least keep my chin up, hehe. Going to take some work though. Right now I've got SLP Loudmouth exhaust, 4.10 gears, K&N air filter, Steeda Tri-X shifter, lowering kit and Steeda sway bars. I'm putting SLP X-pipe/headers on early next year (about to store her for the winter) and I was considering going with a S/C, but now I don't know. Something about superchargers I just don't like...it's not the money. I dunno. I think I prefer to pump her up with bolt-ons for some reason. Throw in a air induction kit, throttle body/plenum, electric water pump and a few other gizmos and I think I can push damn near 450 hp, which is my goal. Anything more than that and I think I'd have to rebuild the engine a bit. I think 400 to 450 is more than enough for a more-or-less daily driver, lol. The only body piece I MIGHT change is the R-Wing, but we'll see...

I agree on lowering it-- that would make it look a lot nicer!! But, nonetheless, it's HOT!
