I have a 1966 Mustang coupe which I have converted from a six cylinder/3 speed original to a 302/ automatic.  I have made several changes including v 8 brakes and an eight inch positive traction rear axle.  My problem is that the c4 I installed finally let me down for the last time.  I now have installed a top loader 4 speed with a centerforce clutch taken from an 86 GT.  I would like to reuse the clutch cable from the 86 for smoother operation.  Does anyone know how to mate it to my original pedal assembly.  Also, I am considering purchasing a set of Hi Po heads from a friend.  They have been reworked with new valves, springs, and titanium retainers.  I can get them for around 300 bucks for the pair.  Would the gain be worth the price.  I am planning on running a Carter AFB carb, what manifold I will use is still in consideration. Thanks for the help.
