Default 02 vs. 98

My friend just got his 1998 Mustang V6 and he INSISTS it can smoke my car. Every time I tell him to race he says he doesn't want to risk a ticket. Smart man? No, we will race on Lafitte LaRose @ 2 - 3 am (No traffic lights, no cars, no cops, just a 2 lane highway each way). He says his car is way faster than mine, which I know is complete BS. Who wins this one?

We both have auto's, so he won't get any edge from shifting ... I also have brand new Potenza G009's that grip the ground UNBELIEVABLY ... I can't spin them for the life of me, lmao!

How badly should I beat him? Are we talking 1 - 2 car lengths or a blowout?

I would have to say pretty bad...he also has more "economical" gears than you...I think 2.73's ?? and you have 3.27's ?? Sorry not sure on the exact stock gear numbers, lol.

98's have 150 hp but still not even close to a 99+

you should take him by 4-5 cars by 100mph if not more

So I should just keep talking trash until he wants to back up his talk, right? His car looks nice and all ... But I've been in it and it didn't have NEAR the pull I had. I know my car doesn't have much, but its much more powerful than his! lol

Is there anything cheap I can do to give me more of an edge? :-D Sorry, he's a good friend of mine and if I show him up I'm going to want it to be BAD! LoL
