Sorry for the newb question :)

I have a 95GT automatic blablabla.

Should i powershift from 1st to second to drive when racing or just floor it in drive off the start. Also, should i keep overdrive off? Sorry for the newb question.
Forgot to mention that i have a shift kit.

Yea if you have a shift kit you can shift win racing. but on a stock car you got to go 1 thin to drive thin back to 2 and thin go to drive. If you don't win you shift out of first it will go to drive even if you have in first. that's y you got to go like this. 1 rev drive fast back to 2 gear rev drive got it.
