Default 1973 Mach 1

This guy wants to trade me his 73 Mach 1 numbers matching and $3,000 for my 66... The 351 was rebuilt 40,k ago, paint and interour is new. Frame rails are good and no rust or rot anyplace. What do ya think of this deal? The car kinda grows on me..

Would you rather have the Mach 1? That car would probably auction around 15k. It seems like a decent deal and the car is in good shape. I like the 71-73s. That would be a personal decesion. Your 66 looks to be perfect. Are you looking for a project?

Not looking for anything really. He contacted me and through the deal at me. I like the Mach 1's and the 71-73's kind of grows on me... Just not sure if the deal is good or not or even if I want to pursue it.

If somebody walked up and offered me either that Mach and 3K OR the 66 coupe (I assume the one in your signature photo), I'd go with the 66 coupe. The Mach looks like a fun toy, but your coupe just looks sharper and looks like you've put a lot of time and TLC into it. ...I'd keep the 66.

Tough one slickman. I really dig the big mach 1. I had a 73 stang (non mach) in highschool and remember liking it. It rode better then my 65 and was definately a smoother ride on the highway. Tough one.[&:]

i wouldnt do it....your car has a bench seat, although i dont like it, i feel thats more unique than a big mach 1.............plus the fact your car has so much done to it by yourself.......

the only way i would do a deal for it is if it didnt involve losing your 66 which you have worked so hard on.

Keep the coupe. It's probably more rare and more desirable IMO.

I'm leaning in that direction. Done soo much work to it and still have to finish the new engine..
