Drove a '68 from age 17 to 23. Always missed it. Could not pass up the opportunity to own another 'stang. Ordered a Performance White (like my '68) premium GT model w/ tan interior. Dealer estimates 6-8 weeks. I figure 10-weeks based on my historic luck at ordering things. Couldn't believe it when I test drove an '06 GT. Car is fabulous in fit, form and function. I was going to buy a Honda Accord Coupe with the 6-speed manual for the gas mileage before I drove the GT. I guess I'll miss the gas mileage, but I'm sure the "fun-factor" will more than make up for it!
