wash then use a clay bar on my car.

After that. Here is kinda what Im thinkingmothers ultimate wax, then mother reflections advanced top coat.

Anything different that could be recommended

This is what I used last time I waxed, some meguiars pre wax(cant remember exactly since im at work), Meguiars NXT Generation Spray Wax.

idk, i really really like the way meguiar's NXT wax looks. the few mother's products i've tried haven't really satisfied me, so i usually go with meguiar's stuff over them. i think most of their stuff looks better

doesnt look any harder than waxing, never done it, planning on doing the wash, clay, wax stuff thursday. pick a 18x18 area, spray it with the lubercation spray, then take the clay and slide it along in that area. You should be able to tell when its perfectly clean in that area when the clay perfectly slips along. add spray as needed(if in doubt to much is good), and fold the clay when it gets dirty. wipe the area with a mirofiber towel, and continue to the next spot.

If you drop the clay on the ground, chunk it in the trash.

Only think I dont know now is if you do the clay bar before using a the meguiars cleaner wax, or if it really matters the order before using the meguiars nxt wax
EDIT: Found my answer on another post
