This was my first "kill" with my car, and it was hilarious!
I don't usually street race, but this guy was just bugging me stop light to stop light in his dinky OZ Rally edition Lancer with his massive tree ornament decorations..etc..car looked like a parade float. The little rattle can was revving non stop.
Finally, we get to a stoplight at the end of town where there is no traffic, it's dead, and just the Lancer vs. Me. My house is just down the street.
The dude had his GF beside him, and it was hilarious to see her just sitting slouched down in her seat...as if she knew they were going to eat my dust.
After a few seconds, the light turns green. I don't even chirp the tires and I start off the line as if I were driving casually. As soon as the Lancer pulls up right beside me while rolling at about 20mph, I floor it, and I just pull so fast and far away that it looks like his car got sucked up in a vacuum. I was so far ahead of him by now that I had to slow down from 65mph to about 35mph for a few seconds so he could catch back up.
Rolling at 35mph, he comes up beside me. I'm still in 4th gear and dont even bother to downshift to 3rd. All of a sudden, he acts like he got whiplash from all of that 120hp he has and cocks his head back and shifts to run again from the roll, while his GF is just sitting there straight as an arrow. I push the pedal down again and slowly pull away from him. All I hear coming from behind me is a bunch of frantic downshifting and fart can noises...
So I slow down, I'm done with this guy, the turn into my neighborhood is coming up. I come to a halt at the last stop sign and he is beside of me on the two lane road. He's pissed and it looks like he's pouting his lips. He's revving his Lancer again, and I start acting as if I'm serious and ready to roll for the final stretch so I give a little gas to show I mean business.
What he doesnt realize is that I have my blinker on for the right turn at the stop sign. He honks three times and peels out.....while I take the right turn into my neighborhood as slow as a granny.

Lol, way to show him. Poor girlfriend. OZ rally editions are NOT fast, but a lot of people who drive them (not all, but I've seen many) think they're a friggin' EVO.
Me and my buddy owned one in his 210hp Prelude Vtec.
Why would you hate them? Damn, I'd love it if someone would approach me on the streets wanting to race. Even when I had the Bullitt no one would so much as rev their engine at me. Hell, I haven't had a street race in a long, long time...

Haha. My younger brother has one, it's pretty slow. He has an Injen intake and an axleback exhaust, and a couple of cosmetic / sound system mods. Surprisingly, he pulled on an 05 or 06 V6 stang from a highway roll, no lie! I told him it must have been a 5 speed and the guy sucked at driving, but a kill nonetheless for him! =p

Surprisingly, he pulled on an 05 or 06 V6 stang from a highway roll, no lie! I told him it must have been a 5 speed and the guy sucked at driving, but a kill nonetheless for him! =p
I guarantee the Mustang wasn't even trying. I don't buy his story. A 120hp 4 cylinder pulling on a 210 horsepower V6? If it doesn't make sense, then it's not true.

My brother isn't one to lie about stuff like that, he and I are a lot alike. If he got owned, he'd joke about it and tell me he got owned. The Mustang apparently instigated it, and then got really pissed when my brother put like a car length or 2 up to like 85 or 90.
Maybe the guy was a tard and didn't downshift or something, or missed a gear twice or something I don't know hah. If my brother wasn't an honest and upright kid like me, I wouldn't have believed him either... but he thought it was really funny, especially considering he never street races or tries to front on people because he knows his car is slowsauce

lol those things are slow. really slow, i put lengths on one of those on the highway a few months back on the way to school. this kid who was drivin had the "pimpdrive" type thing with one arm on the wheel, he instigated and i pwned him. after we got off the exit we raced from a light and he still lost pretty good. if my v6 can pwn him that bad, i can def see that GT of urs murdering his life.

Yea, i am gonna have to call BS on the 05 kill with the lancer, even the Ralliart with the 162hp engine is still only getting low 16's, my car can definitly murder one of those, and i am lightly modded. Granted i have beaten an 05 auto, but still.... that seems a little far fetched, thats all i am sayin.

actually i am gonna revise my statement,lol anything is possible in a street race, that stang may have missed a shift or so, if that happened than it would probably take a little bit to catch back up to the lancer if it happened early.
