So i get made fun of for bein a FORD guy all the time. You know people have there little slogans for ford but its time us Mustang guys come up with a slogan for CHEVY OR BOWTIE! Please if you have an idea let me know.
Don't sweat it . GM couldn't find their asses with both hands and the guys who own them couldn't count their nuts and come up with the same figure twice. GTO- dead, Camaro- never make it back into production, Firebird- who cares? They have no muscle cars after 2006.( the Corvette is a sports car[2 seats]). GM is in bigger trouble than Ford. I doubt they have the guts to pull off the next Camaro.

Yea, next time a bowtie diehard makes fun of your stang.........ask them what Chevy has going in the performance arena right now. The Cobalt??? Don't make me f**kin laugh. If you ask me, the Chevy guys get off lightly...............if Ford had axed the Mustang 4 years ago, GM was still pumpin out F-bodies, and then Ford came out with a suped up replacement for the Focus as their next "performance" vehicle.......you KNOW the Chevy guys would be pointing at us and laughing every chance they could get. I've bought one Ford (Escort - Wife's first car); one GM vehicle (GMC Truck); one Nissan (Wife's 2nd car); one Dodge (Wife's Van - kids...); one Chrysler (Wife's 2nd van - 1st totaled...not her fault); and now have ordered an '07 GT Premium GT. The missing info in the first sentence is that I drove a '68 'stang from age 17 to 23. I returned the car to my father when I bought the GMC Truck. My father had bought the car in '72 from his sister who had to many kids to fit into it. He's since returned the car to her. All that said, If I was buying a truck, I would be on a GM website.... but I'm not! I'm on a 'Stang forum because there isn't a car out there on the market today that can touch the new Mustang. I test drove about 4 different cars ranging from Impalas to Accord Coupes to VW GTI's. Then I recalled the thrilling days of yester-year and took the wife by the local Ford dealer to see the new pony's.... Test drove a GT the next day, Saturday, and ordered my new ride on Monday. You guys are right.... GM/Chevy/Dodge/Ricers have nothing to compete with the new 'Stangs. I could absolutely not believe how well the car: #1 - Drove! #2 - shifted (MT) #3 - Sounded ((V8 Baby - Yeaaaa (Austin Powers voice)) #4 - Looked (inside and out) #5 - Price (finally a muscle car I can afford). I could keep adding to the list. If anyone makes fun of a 'Stang, I have to believe it would simply be out of pure insecurity or P-P-P-Pooonnnyyy-Envy. I ain't taken crap off any of them. I'll just rev the engine to red-line while they're yakkin' and then say, what did you say, soorryy, couldn't hear ya...

Well that uh was uh the uh, and all I'll say is spare me, most people have no idea why the like chevy anyway, ask them why the like GM, is it because they still use pushrod engines? Or because they don have any affordable perfomance cars, or is it because ford killed them in the muscle car race in 69'? Whenever Ford changed the mustang, GM had to do the exact same to their twins. Even with the 1 liter advantage on the engines, GM still couldnt beat the sales/general performance of the Mustang. They had to make two of the exact same damn car to even keep up. MUSTANG FTW.

Wrong, they couldn't keep up even with the two different lines (camaro/firebird). Mustang outsold BOTH brands combined 3-to-1.
And I hear storys about Fords breaking down and all the lame sh*t, Chevys are build like a Rock....whatever.
Back in 1999 I bought a 1999 convertible mustang.(white). Car ran good no problems even til this day running like new.so it was worth the money. a year later or less in 2000 I bought a 2000 Chavy Blazer(metallic tan) yeah it ran good for about 5. and as of this year, I put in so much money just to keep it running,so far The fuel pump went out and I spent around $600.00 just for that to get fixed. and just about a week ago,my gas gauge had went out, now I dont know if I have a full tank of gas or dry to the bone. and thats more money to put in the damn thing,not only that, but my AC dont work as good.I cant even open the hood cuz it always jams.funny thing is in my family they are all chevy heads, and they dont drive fords. I was always taunted about my ford. but after awhile my mustang out lasted their chevys. they dont seem to say anything about my car. yeah I was once a chevy lover, and I did say mean things about fords, but now that I own one and seen how things really are,I take everything I said back.
I hope I can trade in my chevy for a 07 mustang. that would rock!!!

lol ford owns chevy like crazy....id rather have a ford gt and a mustang than a camaro and a vette..but yeah anyways there is a bunch of slogans for chevy i just cant think of any lol..but yeah those firebirds camaros trans am might be fast..but mustangs look so much better and they arent that much slower. plus if u really care enough about speed u cvan spend a grand and make it just as fast..
