ok guys just wondering what kind of power a lincoln ls is pushing,its the 4.6 i believe,i know theres like a better version so if you could let me know what the power is of all the lincolns that would be great.

I raced one at the track and beat him. He had a cold air intake and who knows what else. He ran a 15.2 @ 92mph.

i wouldn't say its terribly slow, but the damn thing weighs 2 tons and has no torque, so yea..............

The Lincoln LS V8 engine is a 3.9 DOHC, rated at 252hp & 261 lb-ft, until 2003 when they started using variable cam timing. Since then they are rated at 280hp and 286 lb-ft. They are pretty nice cars but WAY too heavy for the engine. They need at least 350hp / 350lb-ft to be "fun" enough. I had an 02 and loved everything about it except for the lack of power.
