I think I already know the answer to this one, but here it goes anyway. What do you think of vertical doors on a stang?

I'm probably going to be one of the only people to say so, but I kinda like vertical doors on any type of car. I mean everybodies doors open the standard way. Its kinda cool to see a car with vertical doors that is not a Lambo (or some other $200,000 car).

Thats does look tight as hell. As far as price the kits that I have seen have been between $1500 and $2000

The doors look awesome, my only other question is does it make it difficult to get in and out of the car? I'm 6'4" and am a little concerned that if I do the vertical doors it will be a project getting in and out of the car. I'm also considering the possibility of doing a targa top, what are your opinions on that?

The issue of getting into and out of the car was a big question that I had too. I am also considering doing the targa top (I love the way the stangs look with them).

Hey no one shoot me but I think verticle doors are pimp as hell and would look insanely sweet on a roush / saleen type body style - I think you could walk that fine line between ricey and awsome if done right.

hey snake. i'm 6'0" and a pretty big guy. it's not difficult getting in and out of the car. it's actually really good getting out of tight spots (as the doors don't have to swing all the way out). with the kit i got, i don't even have to put the doors up to get in and out. you'll have to put them up to get things in and out of the backseat, though. last thing, stang doors are heavy (you probably already know that). constantly putting the doors up and down will give you a workout. btw. what are targa tops?

I'm guessing you'd have to leave the tops home with a stang? Or would they fit stacked in the trunk?

If I'm not mistaken I think you can put the top in the trunk. I know the replacement top they give you is only 25lbs so its real easy to move around.

I was thinking sizewise, but I guess that trunks bigger than mine cause there's space for my top to be stored after all.
