OK I about have my wife convinced that the New sponsor deal that Demolet is having on their SC2 and intake is a deal worth going for but I havnt heard alot of talk about that particular setup on here...how about it are their tunes as good as the big three that dominate the boards or not. Someone push me over the edge here, please. I dont want to have to sell it later and buy a C&L and tuner later.

I just ordered one yesterday...and figured this point:

If I don't like the tunes or would prefer a diff tune I can get one from bamachips for $50 and still save money on their set-up...win win in my mind

As soon as I get the money together, Demolet/TI is the way I'm going to go. I've read all kinds of good things about their system. I think their construction looks top-notch, and I've yet to hear anything but good reviews about them.

Edit: As for the tunes, I'm pretty sure that if you're not satisfied, you can pay a small amount for one of the "big 3" tune shops to support your tuner...it is the same model of tuner after all.

I don't think you can go wrong, I spoke to Doug at Bama about my set up (AFE) and he said changing to a tunable inlet like a DeMolet would not be worth the added expense; it would only net about another 2 to 3 HP.

Hey 05...that's the setup I'm running, just mine is from BAMA...It's a great setup man. Looks good and performs good. You won't be dissapointed. If you are I'll drive up the turnpike to Emporia and let you hit me. Fair? LOL

I've got that setup and am very happy with it. Had it painted to match my car. I'm running the canned 93 tune that came with the Xcal2, even with the canned tune, I can feel the power increase. I'm getting about 20 mpg in the city and about 28mpg highway, and that's with a lead foot
The C&L and Demolet were my choices too. I chose the Demolet because of the paint matching option. Check it out......

Is there another website that is better than $599.99 for a demolet CIA+X-2? or $649.99 for C&L CAI+X-2?

What about the deal on www.TunableInduction.com that its offering for MustangForum members... Is that worth it?

Thanks!

I paid $565 shipped and color matched (included CAI, Xcal2 (87,91,93 tunes), usb cable for tuner)
This is the $540 deal at Tuneable Induction with the $25 extra charge for the color match and free shipping.
Took two weeks to get it (extra week for painting) Well worth the wait.

I actually got mine through Kovac Motorsports on Ebay....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8041016693&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I sent emails through Ebay asking questions and John Demolet himself answered my questions. Great customer service and a great product!

Steve

Eh, there are so many websites with CAI/X-2 Deals, and each deal could easily be labled a 'tunable induction' - Yeah I should have caught it, but I didn't, oh well.
