put a little color on the vert moday. i snapped some pics today. i cut in the trunk with the paint and just gotta prime the right side of then wet sand the whole car. the kolor is house of kolors meteror maroon with an apple red kandy over it. now im gonna need new rim and top so the car looks jam up again

gallons more like 2-3 quarts it will make about 6 quarts though it reduces 2:1 and probably a gallon of clear. then im using the apple red kandy koncentrate in the clear. gotta be real careful spraying kandys the color is very transparent if u dont seal the entire car a solid color it will show! the nice thing about using the koncentrate in the clear is that u get to determine how dark its gonna end up. with the premixed kandy its dark off the bat! those small pics just dont do it justcie and in person its an awesome color

I had alot of experience spraying Shimron and a bunch of crazy crap that we would come up with back in the shop..late 80's/early 90's.
I would buy the HOC tint and put it in a PPG Clear to save $. It worked out great like that. Then Dupont came out with their version of Candy paint (Shimron) and I started using that. I could get really good results on way less money. And I wouldn't have to mix it or anything. Less mess.
So you are using a Concentrate and putting it in a HOC Clear?? What base color did you paint it first??

yeah im using the knocentrate (apple red) the base is meteror maroon i think im gonna add some ice pearl in the clear also so it will popp even more

Hey have you guys ever shot a gt? I have my stang blocked out 3 times just laid on the final k38 coat for wet sanding in the morning, I was always wondering what process I should go by, I have the jams all primed, as well as the hatch off with the hatch jams all primed as well. Do I shoot the jams first or last? I was going to start my base at the jams then move onto the hatch then spray the rest of the body. Painting the car Dodge Viper Black.

about how much do you guys end up paying for all your paint and such, i already have a good gun and compressor nad my dad and i both wana learn ot paint
seeing as my front bumper cnat get any worse that was gunna be my starting point. than if that goes well do the rest of the car.
