That is true, but what reason does he have to lie about being beat by a turbo civic?
No, I was just guessing that he really didn't know anything about the car. I/H/E...Nothing else? No boost controller? Stock pistons, rings, rods, cam, clutch, slicks, really bright stickers?

Dang Im outta the loop on this one. Did someone say a civic is running low 12's with just a turbo? Call me retarted but I think its retarted to think thats possible, at least on something other than an all out drag car.
umm you dont have a true "cold air intake" after installing A turbo, you just have the intake that the turbo comes with therefore no need to really mention "i have an intake"
and that civic stoner the moron ran didnt go 13.1 unless he had MAJOR work done to it. Civic SI's with trubos that ive seen run in the mid-low 14's....
sidewayz4.6: Maybe the 9 car lengths came from him shutting down, who knows, I couldn't hear his car because all I could hear was my intake. But you can dis Honda's all you want, I don't really care. I can't wait for the JDM accords to get over here, AWD with I believe a 3.2L engine from the TL-S (270HP), maybe more by the time they get over here. My car will move, I posted a video, and my timeslips of stock (14.4) and CAI (14.2). Once I get MM and exhaust, I'll be a happy camper. I want you to call BS on this one for me, just to make me happy, because it's damn true. The guy I was telling you about with another 03-04 AV6, has same Intake as me, getting 14.3's best, put on new motor mounts and got 3 13.8's out of it in the same night. Wheelhop and traction is such a big factor in my cars performance. On the street I don't really have that much problem.
And you are kinda right, I don't know EVERYTHING about the car, I talked to him for about fifteen minutes tops when I saw him at the track the first time. Yes, he does have a turbo timer, Intake (what part of intake he can have), Exhaust, Header, Turbo Timer, Forged Internals. Not sure what else he has, ran it on a street tires, not slicks, stock tranny.
So it's just drop dead amazing that something other than another Mustang can beat a Mustang? Why is that so hard to believe? I havn't been able to find any GT owners (99+) that will race, it's always old people driving them. I did run an RSX tonight though, but you guys don't care about that. Internal races: Honda vs Acura. I just can't wait for winter to roll around so I can run again with my mods I have done, should be interesting. Waiting for Comptech to release a UD pulley and Borla to release the J-Pipe, and then I'll be good to go with the Greddy exhaust and Hi-Flow cat I just bought. With those mods (I/E/J/Hi-Flow) and MM, I'm hoping to get 13.5 out of it. Right now I'm sitting at ~260HP at the crank, 232HP at the wheels on the DynoJet at Corvette Masters.

I give up...I'm so F'n tired of hearing about how great Honda's are. I didn't dis them, I just said it won't go 12.2, or 13.1 whatever with just a turbo.

Spoken like a true ricer. Who said that? I don't think stock Mustangs are fast. I don't think your car is fast. I don't think my car is fast. I think mid 10 second street cars are fast. So I'm really not impressed that your Accord beat up on some Mustang.
I don't care if you give up, but all I hear from you is: "Wow, my mustang stock for stock will kick your ass." And all I have read is, stock 99+ GT's run 14.0 with a great driver, 14.5 with mediocre driver. I'd say that's pretty dead even with me, don't you think? I never claimed for my car to be *fast*, but it sure as hell is fast for what it is.
And if I'm a ricer....that would be funny, although I'm not. But hey, call me a ricer if you want, you have no proof of it, nor will I ever be one.

alright, i saw the kids car, and raced him. he had a gutted civic ex hatch. he was on 12 psi, with a mitsu td04 -19t with a greddy front mount. he had a race seat and his stand alone ecu in the car. he did trailer it to the track becase it was on d/r's. think about it... under 2000 lbs with nearly 250whp and slicks. next i'll hear how it was impossible for me to get into the 12's with just exhaust work and an ecu.

See, I didn't say that to you. I've never said that my car stock for stock will kick your ass. So I'm not sure where you got that from. Take your ass to a Honda forum and talk all the **** that you want.
...And yes, you are a ricer. You bought a Honda Accord (modded it) and go to the drag strip with it. THAT makes you a ricer.
Better yet, you bought an Accord and THINK that it's a race car.
RICER!

I have heard motor mounts can help..it sounds crazy but i have read it. But its not gonna give a full second in the 1/4,cause if thats the case ill take a case of them to go.
sidewayz4.6: Did I call my car a racecar? Show me where I did....I'm about 110% sure I didn't, nor did I ever think it was. I just wanted to see how quick it was. I drive down the road like a normal person...and I get other people wanting to race me because it says V6 Accord on the back of my car, and it's a coupe. I don't know many "fast" cars that are sedans, but there are a few, like WRX and SRT-4 (SRT-4 shouldn't even count)..
I am on Honda forums, and I don't talk **** there, because everybody is running nearly the same times as me on the track. Also, just by buying a Honda Accord, means that I'm a ricer? rofl....That's good. So you've never seen the pictures of the riced out Mustangs? What do you call those people? Sounds like you are generalizing Honda owns as a whole as ricers. So I'm going to find one of those riced out Mustangs, and tell him his beastly domestic with altezza's owns my imported cars ass. Yeah, you'll find me doing that within the next 30 years *BS*...
You have just taken the name Honda and immediately associated it with the term Ricer. I do love it when people do that. Normally I've always considered ricers as people with orange or some other nasty ass color on their car, with 20' parkbench wings on the back, and other things that are just horrendous (stickers, false tags, etc.) Lets see here.....the only thing I've done to my car, inside or out, is putting on a CAI. I havn't added stickers, I havn't debadged my car, I havn't repainted it, I havn't lowered it, I'm running on stock rims and stock tires (which suck IMO). So yeah, call me a ricer while I laugh in your face, go get educated on what ricers truely are, bro. And please, show me where I called my car a racecar. I take it the 12 second minivan considered himself as a race car, along with the Caviliers that run 17's are racecars too huh?
My idea of a racecar would be a Corvette, Supra, or my favorite, which is just insane, the Bugatti.
mdvaldosta: Yeah, he dropped .5 seconds on the 1/4 by getting Poly solid motor mounts. If you even knew how much torque spin and wheelhop our cars get being FWD, then you could agree. Right now, the car sits solid, and you can't even feel the A/C while idling. I've riden in the guys car with new MM, shakes like hell, but if anything off the line, he spins just a bit without any notice of wheelhop. I've run down the track twice and had it pop out of first because I launched too high, bounced all over the track, and popped out of gear. Sure it sucked, but I managed to still get a 14.9 on one run with that happening. His 60' went from 2.21 to 1.95. So if I recall properly, for every .1 seconds off your 60' time, you drop .2 seconds on the 1/4? If that is true, then by God, I think he just might have pulled it off!
And for the record, I'm not here to be an asshole or a smartass at all, I just hate it when people associate Honda's as ****ty cars, of which they aren't. Sure they aren't your typical Cobra or Camaro SS "racecar," but Honda is starting to make a comeback. Word has it that JDM AWD Accords that are coming over here might be having the option of F/I, but not sure if it's going to be T/C'd or S/C'd. Stay tune, because in 10 years, some of you might be owning a Honda instead of a Mustang because it's faster. You never know, I'm not saying it's true, but only one person knows the future of things: nobody.

I don't consider all Honda's ricers...Okay, I do. well, not really. Just the ones that rice them out, or take them to the strip. But who cares. You're all a bunch of whiney bitches that have to explain to people how fast your car is. I've owned an Accord. But here's the difference. I KNEW IT WAS SLOW AND I DIDN'T TAKE IT TO THE DRAG STRIP.
I've seen the riced out Mustangs. They are ricers also. They difference is they don't call cars JDM, or DSM, or IDB...(that was for you 98LS1)
Okay, we can go on and on with this all day long. The point is, why are you constantly posting about your Accord on a Mustang Forum. If you're here to learn about Mustangs, Great, Welcome. If you just want a bunch of Mustang guys to send you home crying, then please spare us all the Honda BS and be on your way. (We already have 2000SI and he's figured it out already...So when we want Honda info, we'll ask him)
In case you didn't notice...Nobody gives 2 ****s about your Honda.
Honda's suck, get over it. They're economy cars, not sports cars. Mid 15's are NOT fast. Using a blower to run 14's still does not equate fast. Running a turbo on 20psi, race gas, and slicks to break 13's is still NOT fast. No matter how you look at it, Honda's are not fast.
