my bad im not up on the honda engines, i meant the GSR engine, which you said is a b18c1, my bust.

And 95 (or 98LS1 whatever) i love your car. If it was a WS6 (just cuz of the hood) i would love it more, but i think black trans am's are mean as hell looking.

Also i have a friend with a white trans am LS1 and he has the torque thrust 2's, they look amazing on his car, i definitely recommend them.....

I guess I am just a diehard old skool kinda guy, cause I dont care if its a b18cnt or a fli39g. Give me a displacement and a manufacturer, if its not a V8 and I dont have to fix it, then I just really dont care what it is. How it runs could possibly be a different matter.

Jezus...How fast is a Civic? My dad had one of those. We did the 4 door shoot out at the track and it went 14.99. The only car we brought with us that beat it was a 4 door GTP that went 14.8. Civics aren't that fast are they?

My my my, better late than never, BUT.... 98LS1, I love the new car! What were we talking about again? A 10k Civic that looks like ass? OMG... please someone help this dude... DARLING (cough cough), what you NEED is to BUY a nice COBRA that costs about 9K, THEN you won't have to worry about V6 mustangs OR imports... WOW... Recess Time! ANyone want to trade their lunch for a balogna sandwich?

I call BS on him havin 10K in the civic. 2000SI, help me out and get some prices runnin through here, cuz for 10K his car should look better than that unless he purposely beat it with an ugly stick so it would be a sleeper.

Well, to be fair we went at it three times, I got two badass launches and pulled a car on him before i shut down. The third race I got an ok launch and he was at my rear bumper, by the end of 2nd and 3rd he was at my door and once we got into fourth he was even with me. Thats when he turned into the left turn lane to go down Stellhorn. The first two races I ripped him a new one and the 3rd he would have killed me by the time the 1/4 was over but we both shut down.

We went through this already... I finally added up all my shiz, and everything essential to the motor build added to something like 10,218. Suspension, tires and misc other BS was like another 6000.

For 10 grand you could have one hell of a sleeper civic.

there was this dude parading around the local racing scene here for awhile with an electron blue turbo SI. The only person he ever raced was a hooked up prelude, which he beat. He would never race any of us V8 guys. It was kinda sad because he said he had about 20k in the civic with the body kit and turbo and all.....

Hasport just built a K20a2 and turbo'd it then dropped it into an EK Civic Chassis (same as mine, only a hatchback) and on low boost it made like 387 hp and on high boost it made 455 hp.

For some strange reason (probably lack of traction) on high boost it only ran a 13 flat... I was dissappointed in the numbers myself.

I ran a 14.305 he ran a 13.112 @ 109 or 110, somewhere around there.

That is true, but what reason does he have to lie about being beat by a turbo civic?

See, I don't buy that either. There HAS to be more done to the car. Unless he was running 24# of boost, in that case, it wasn't a stock motor.

Mustangs with a stock motor and a turbo don't go 12.2. I won't believe for a second that a Civic hatch will. What else? Head, exhaust, turn signals in the fenders???? SOMETHING!!!
