Im looking to get new rims very soon, Whats the diffrence in the way the chrome and the polish look, which do you think looks better and why did you choose chrome over polish or polished over chrome?? Also what tires do you all recommend?!?!?!

I got polished, there lighter, cheaper, an if you curb them or damage them you can easily fix them an buff em out to make them like new again....well as long as you dont bend them or anything like that.... with chrome if you damaged the wheels youd have to either buy new wheels or get them fixed an re-chromed which is a pain and costs $$$$$$$, people think I have chrome wheels but their polished aluminum.

Yea well i love your rims jim i actually want bullits really really bad and thats what id get but i was looking at the cost of both and noticed they both look the same but polished is less expensive... and i knew they were more work to take care of or so ive heared...but your rims are awesome and are the ones that insipired me to get em cause i think those rims on my 04 dark shadow grey sixer would look awesome, thanks for all your help everyone and your comments, i guess i have to make a decission. When i do eventually make my decission and get them ill post some pics for all to see, thanks again!!!
ya you have to upkeep the polished aluminum, i had american racing polished aluminum on my s-10 and i didnt clean em or pay attention to em, cuz i was at college away from home, and they jsut looked terrible when i got back and "tried" to clean them, so i just gave up lol
well i wash the car every weekend sometimes twice a week if its rained and wax when needed so i think i may go polished cause i have the time to take care of them.
The question is will you always have time? I really think you will regret getting the polished wheels. Sometimes you won't have time and those things are really bad. But anyways. GOod luck.
