Alrighty, Here we go. I have a 1995GT with shorty headers, a K&N cold air intake kit, a shift kit, BM Hammer Ratchet shifter, 3.73 possie gears, and Flowmasters 3 chamber exhaust. I purchased the car not knowing anything about mustangs really. All i knew was that i wanted one. Anyways, i was told it was all stock when i bought it. All the work previously stated was done to it with its previous owner excpt for the shift kit. Anyways, as far as i know my cylender heads are stock. I have seen that they can make some nice horse just by adding some good heads. What i am asking is that when i go on Ebay for example and see heads for sale. Will say GT40 heads that were on a 1988 gt work on my 95gt all being 5.0HO engines? Are they all compatible or what? Im looking for some good heads to bold on and get the extra horse out of. I see GT40s are popular but i also see trickflow and AFV or something as well. Would it be wise to buy the bare heads such as the ones in this auction without all the necessary parts? I am on a budget and will be going to college soon and dont want to pay an arm and a leg. Would these for exmaple be compatible

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7905480793&category=33617&sspagename=WDVW

and is it worth it to buy them without all the springs and necessesary components? Thanks in advance guys
-Omar

Omar,

I actually just bought some GT40 aluminum heads on Ebay. I also have a 95 gt. What I found was that most of the 5.0 heads work. I didn't find any that were different. If you want to make sure you can go to a supplier web page and check the model number for the 95 gt's and the Fox bodies. If I were you I would stay away from bare heads. If you can find a decent set with valves and springs go for that. If you aren't going to build the head yourself it'd be a lot easier to buy a full one. After buying the parts and having them fitted, I doubt you'd save much.

I appretiate your help bro. I will probobly skip over this oportunity and look for some heads that are already complete and functional. Anyways, I see in your singniture that you have 17in cobra R rims. I have the same kind. The big fat tires etc. I was wondering if you knew where i could buy some more Cobra Emblum inserts for the rims as i have lost 2 already and have no more spares, so if i loose one more im screwed. I appretiate your reply bro.

I just saw the center pieces somewhere, they were $30 a piece for OEM.

AFS has them for $20 or $75 for 4
