Default new muffler...

I installed a Flowmaster #17421, it does not have the flowmaster sound. It sounds like a rice burner four banger. Any ideas?

Thats a bummer. You could lie to yourself and say you were inspired by "Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift" but I am sure you still won't be happy. I have the MRT and I am quite pleased with it.

402...I remember not too long ago when someone posted having a single magnaflow and being unhappy with it. Said it sounded ricey like you are stating that your flowmaster sounds. I am trusting you have a single? I held off on getting a single after hearing the single magnaflow sound clip. It sounded very bad. My only suggestion to you, if you want to STAY with a single, is maybe alow it some break in time. Or, and I hate to say it, buy another brand name...The Gt take off single sounds nice. So do: JBA, FordRacing Borla, and if you want to shatter windows, the MRT. All single and all with a very deep throaty sound. My .2
