I don't see where you would fit it. Where did MSP install his heat exchanger?

I don't see where you would fit it. Where did MSP install his heat exchanger? MSP never installed a heat exchanger only an A-A intercooler and an oil cooler. The heat exchanger looks goes in front of the radiator same setup as the S/C 03 Cobra's. I actually think he installed a cobra heat exchanger. I will go to the thread he created on it and find out. EDIT: Yep, he squezed one in there, here is the write up: http://www.v6power.net/vb/showthread.php?t=27221

The mustang GT has 255-265 rwhp (right?) and it runs 13.5's stock (right?) so with us at the same rwhp or alittle more with ours much lighter much we should run perhaps 13.3's? Just throwing things up here! obviously we would need sticky tires, and track lok, perhaps even gears Paul

Just throwing things up here! Paul Stock times are between 13.5 to 13.7 last time I looked it up. Though I have never seen one run that fast in stock trim at the track, most stock ones I've seen are 14, 14.2, etc. With exhaust and CAI I have seen them run high 13's. At FFW I saw one run 11's, lol. But it varies on what they run, but sure, with a really good drive I'm sure a 13.5 is doable. Also, I don't think we are that much lighter.

Paul It's doable, expecially considering he is a vert and on stock tires, but I would make sure you have some LCA/UCA and I wouldn't go 4.10s on an Xcharger. It makes max boost at 2k, so stock gears would be optimal.

But if your brother-in-law is completely stock, you should have no trouble beating him with an s/c. But if you make him mad and he decides to do a few mod's, you'll likely get stomped the next time out :)

If you look at the X charger dyno sheet the curve follows the GT very cloesly HP & TQ from 2000RPM to 5800RPM and 373's and 4.10's work very good with a GT. Cool man, but I was thinking more on the launch. Cause the kit makes full boost at 2K, and with 4.10s, I could just see that kit breaking loose at the line a lot right from the get go. What do you think? Of course I'm not gonna put money on it, your ET predictions have always been spot on.

Regarding the several comments made that the X-C doesn't make any top end power, we haven't seen much in the way of dyno charts but I don't see any reason that this would be the case. It is true that it makes power quickly and reaches full boost at a much lower RPM than centri SCs, but this does not mean that it will quit making power at mid-RPM. It probably holds a steady boost to redline like other roots-type blowers.

What do you think? Of course I'm not gonna put money on it, your ET predictions have always been spot on. Rygen when the X Charger comes on at full boost at 1800RPM it makes the HP & TQ (power) of the V6 match the GT HP & TQ from 1800 and up though out the RPM range (check the dyno sheets). So when putting down as much power as a GT from 1800 and up, so if they are pulling about the same power HP & TQ on launch the gears will perform similar on each car. There are guys running 4.10's on the GT's with good results on street tires. Firestang70 from 4.0 **** is an excellant example he is running a stick with 4.10's with only a tune , CAI and on stock street tires is running a 13.09 There are 3 dyno sheets at TMS you can compare the X vs the GT to see it check out the power curve from 1800 and up of both the GT and the V6 X Charger. There are 2 dyno sheets in the first post then another one 3 post down by Doug check them out. Of course the above example does not mean your going to run 13.09 with 4.10's on the X Charger but just something to look at when deciding on gears for the X.

I haven't really been in this convo yet.... but, I like the X-charger and am waiting to see what the hi-po kit offers. As far as an Eaton with an intercooler.... looks like it can be done... and, has been done from one of our favorite guys around... http://www.alternativeauto.com/misc/marauder.html
