Well, my Stang bit the dust at about 2 today [:@]

It's been raining off an on here for days, was a light rain at the time. I was at a Bank of America here, made a left turn, gave it a little gas on that turn...and felt the tires lose traction, next thing i knew i was spinning out into the oncomming lane...i hit the brakes, overcorrected, fishtailed again back through my lane and hit a concrete wall head on. I was out of it, luckily a bystander stopped and called 911...ambulance took me to the hospital where i just had scrapes and bruises, luckily. Airbag burns mostly, i hit my hand on something and bit my lip. No ticket was issued. And now the real fun starts...luckily minimal damage was done to the wall, my car is all fugged up in the front...hood crumpled, bumper cracked, grille off etc, i just called insurence...we'll see what they do, it's drivable I went to the tow yard to get it, but the power steering fluid is leaking.

And that's my story, already miss my baby pony The moral is, the stock 16 tires suck ass.

You're right, and i'm not trying to shirk my responsability, i screwed up...this is my first RWD car and i just did the wrong thing...but the 16 tires still suck ass in the rain, and even the cop said the roads were slick with oils and stuff from all the rain, i screwed up but i'm alive and maybe i shouldn't be, and noone was hurt besides me, that's all that really matters.

I was going to ask if this was your first RWD car. My 88 GT was my first RWD car and on my way home fron the dealer not 5 minutes of owning her and I f tailed on a corner and bang...took 2 weeks to get her back! Our tires do suck but be careful on our RWD cars

I'm sorry to hear about your Stang dude..I would come unglued if I hurt mine.. Glad you're ok and you'd better get a rental car and have some fun (I think you know what I mean....Just get the insurance!!!!) Keep us posted about your car!

Sh*t...my first fishtail was a few weeks ago! That damn Traction Control screwed me up....I used to always fishtail my 05 F-150, got it down to a fine art (practice in the sand heheh) But with the TCS, its a new animal....It kept going back and forth and back and forth......

i'm really sorry to hear about your stang getting bruised and
glad it wasn't worse. I do hope you find other morals to the
story someday besides:

"The moral is, the stock 16 tires suck ass. "

Hell, when I've recked cars, somehow i always knew it
was my own damned fault..

Hope your stang gets fixed up and back on the road real soon.
