These were just posted on Hondaswap...

First one is the guy sorta against a Porsche Boxster. Sorta...

Next one is the guy vs a BMW 330. Sorta, again... He just did a ricer flyby and got thru the light.

Last race is vs an old school f0 d0 Impala SS LT1 V8... YOU KNOW these two are racing...and watch what happens...I was surprised like no other.

ps. the camera is in a (EDIT: It's NA, i was incorrect) B16 powered Civic Hatch (EK chassis I believe)

Definately a good kill, with a b16. But he ruined it all when he said "too much vtec'n"

kind of depressing that a supercharged b16 cant is keeping even with an impala shows how little potential there is to hondas

Just edited my first post, i was incorrect. That B16 was NA... no SC, no Turbo, no Nitrous. In fact the owner just bought a nitrous kit for it.

I just read this again and again... it makes no sense... he's keeping with the 350 LT1...and then pulls on it through 4th and 5th gear....

he is keeping up with a 5 thousand pound car with 260 horsepower that runs high 14's to low 15's in the quarter mile thats not fast

well, even that is irrelevant the more I was thinking about it.

He took a stock 16-17 second car with a D16, dropped in a B16 and now it's outrunning 14 second V8 equipped cars at 120 mph. Give it some love. You know you're impressed, because he'd probably out run your 15 second Fox GT.

also if you notice they dont start the race from a stop because "vtech" doesnt kick in until later so he needs that edge to stay with him, from a dead stop he would have been smoked and i dont think he would beat my fox

assume what you want, It doesn't take long for a B16 to get up to 5500 rpm, believe me... I drive one. Anyway, you're saying a 5000 lb 260 hp car would kill it from a dig? isn't that kinda contradicting your own previous statements?

You also said it yourself, he's beating up on 14 second cars and your fox GT is not a 14 second car. (if it is it's modded like mad)

low 15 second car guy and thats with a professional driver also imprts are known for low end torgue and also foxes are mid 14 second cars stock, and lastly what are you doing on a mustang forum? you contribute nothing you cant evn share your experiences because you drive and like cars that no one here cares at all for

holy run on sentence batman... Hey here's an idea... use these ...... there ya go.

First Impala SS 4 door sedans are mid 15 second cars, at best 15.4. Secondly, (Honda) Imports are NOT known for torque...what are you smoking? Your 5.0 GT is a mid 14 second car, meaning he would still beat you. *gasp* you just owned yourself. Lastly, why am I on this board? cause I'm in the market for a 5.0, why do i need to own one to be on here? I don't contribute because I'm here learning about them.

Try using another lame excuse already.

i meant they werent known for low end torque, also i would resort to taking jabs at my sentence structure if i lost too. you didnt prove a valid argument. also if my car is a mid 14 second car and an impala runs a 15.4 and that import piece of **** broke even with it how could it beat me? i know if i did an engine swap i wouldnt be desperately clenching to break the 15 second mark. get your facts straight

He walked from a mid 15 second car, I really don't think he'd have any problems with your GT model and your whopping 88 mph speedometer.

i have a 92 gt guy it has a 140 mph speedometer and also my car is modded stock it runs a 14.8 for my year. you have no idea what you are talking about you dont deserve to own a mustang
