Default click coming from engine bay

Hey, i just recently got my 4.0 (like 4 days ago) and I am notcing that when the A/C is on i hear a loud click every few moments, probably 30 seconds or so apart coming from the engine bay. I was wondering if anyone else heres this and if it is normal or something i should get looked at. It happens at all time, when idling, accelerating, and braking with no difference.

it's normal... it's the a/c compressor cycling... it is pretty loud on our cars...

Glad to know its normal. Had a ton of problems with my previous car (Engine replacement after 2000 miles, luckily under warantee, and much more afterwards) and i would hate to start having problems in my mustang with only 400 miles!

I may have bad news for you. My 2006 has 11k on it and the tick sound coming from my Air conditioner compressor went from an occasional tick noise to a continuous ticking everytime it was on. The Dealership told me today that they needed to order and install and new compressor. Keep an eye on it.

by continuous do you mean, like non stop ticking, or that it ticked while the car was running every 30 seconds or so apart?
