I think a WC T-5 can handle 330ft/lbs.

It really depends on how you shift. Weve all blown up T-5's but a buddy of mine has an LX that goes 10.70's with a stock T-5 I swear to God. I didnt believe him until I saw it for myself.

As soon as my cousin put ported E7's and a new clutch in, he shot out 3rd gear. I'd say he's maybe low 13's/high 12's. But I don't think '89 was WC.

Some work better than others for different people. mine was stock with 130000 miles on it and went 11.60's. So i think its really just a matter of luck. Plus if you dont power shift your T-5 will last longer.

does powershifting, or speedshifting hurt the transmission even if u don't grind or miss gears?? i thought shifting hard only hurt the clutch
