Well, I'd hate to have the only say in where we go. I'm sure there's someone more qualified. I'm trying to think of landmarks, places most of us know how to get to. Anaheim is probably one of the easiest as both the Angel's stadium and the pond are visible from the I-5. Even if they didn't know how to get there, they would be able to see it.

Hmmm... think there's one South of Lincoln, on the West side of the I-5. Never ate there, but I've seen the signs. In n Out parking lots are a little small, so have to keep that in mind too.

well, theres one in fullerton off the 91....but thats a really bad place i think...theres one by my house....its in the same lot as a Stater Bros....theres one off the 5N by Valley View....i mean, we're just going to hang out and eat, its not like we actually have something planned and staying at the lot for a long night. we could just grab a bite and go somewhere more to our liking to park and chit chat like the pond or the stadium. maybe have a BBQ or something there. that would be cool

Just a word of warning...

The parking lot at that In N Out is shared with a local Chuck E Cheese......not to mention the nearby Costco and El Torito.

Saturday at noon time, it's usually swamped with mini-vans and kids, so parking is sometimes at a premium.....

Just a thought, I know how nervous I get when parking mine.....

V6MustangKnight.. Saturday afternoon could you run over to the In n Out as quickly and safely as your stang can take you. Park your stang sideways to hold onto.. what, 2 spots? If I find the place quickly, I should be there at the same time and I'll park side ways and hold onto another two spots, maybe keep a space open in between us, nobody will park between two oddly placed mustangs. Then we can just walk back and forth between the other few parking spots and wave people away. :D

The whole reason why it was moved back in here was because I spoke with a moderator about my intentions for this thread. By moving it out of here, they made my meet an open invitation, which I would have quickly dumped and want nothing to do with. Marty, next time will definitely be more organized. I initially got the ball rolling when I had a working PC... not so easy from work though.

I showed up at 4PM sharp, not a soul there.. I'm sure I looked silly parked all sideways. Tom (afixer) showed up with Tommy Jr. around 4:40, then Phil (pat6674u) around 5:00, followed by Luis (V6MustangKnight) at 5:30ish. Didn't have a chance to snap pictures with our hoods up as a fullerton police officer stopped by to make sure we weren't the ricers that usually come by at that time. So we put the hoods down.

As always, Tom had a lot of DIY tips to share with us; Phil did a bitchin job installing his own leather interior, Luis is nearly stock but his single magnaflow (sounds pretty close to my dual magnaflows)... and props on the LaBra cover-up! :D

In between me almost backing up into Luis' stang and Tom's horror stories, it was fun!


Side note.. when I arrived at my girl's house, her sister's boyfriend was there with his 05 Mitsubishi Evo. Guy talks so much crap about mustangs, even more if they're automatic. He swears up and down that he can take GTs, and that our blown V6's are nothing to blink at. Guy's all talk so far... he's never even been to the track! I really need to get a blower and show him what our V6s can do. [:@]

I'm glad you had a good time, don't take my comments about the organization as an insult. I just think the meet was put together too fast and should have been given a couple weeks to come together. Next time I'm sure there will be a better showing. And again, thanke for the effort!

Yeah, that was great when the cop drove by and us with our hoods up. If that guy had wanted to be a real prick he could have walked over, seen that none of us had CARB certifications and written us a fix-it ticket. Good thing Tom talked him away.
