Does anyone know why there is a beep (it beeps about 5-6 times when you are driving around 118km/hr) As soon as you hit that speed it starts it doesn't go away unless you speed up (or slow down lol) And is there a way to get rid of it
lol not seatbelt and that is around 70 miles an hour. You do 80 and there is no problem. The car I bought was originally liscensed in the states. So I don't know if they maybe changed something in the display to get both km/hr and mph. I just know it beeps and drives us crazy Turning up the music does help though lol.
Not bashing Canada too much, but WTF? You get accused of drag racing they crush your car, and that is before trial from what I am told, you MUST have day time running lights, and your cars beep at a certain speed? Next you are going to tell me they have socialized health care or something!

I have never heard of a car being crushed for racing lol. But I don't think you should be racing or stunting on the streets. Just last weekend a co-workers son was trying to drift his car at 120km/hr around a curve in town and the result is his 16 year old girlfriend is dead and he has a shattered jaw, fractured skull, and possible brain damage. Plus whatever he is facing for charges. My opinion anyhow.
Thank you Fast and Furious! I'm sure we'll be hearing more stories like this, too sad. But too many people think it will never happen to them because they are such good drivers; you know the ones, they've had their license for two years and they're Mario freakin Andretti.

Note I said accused, I saw someone state on this forum, with a news clipping if I am not mistaken that the alleged drag racers had their cars crushed then the court date. I don't condone reckless driving, the track is the BEST place to race. I am just saying.
thats ****ing terrrible... 120kmh is a rediculous speed to attempt a stunt like that at, 40kmh would have been safe... and to do it with a 16 y/o in the car, thats ****ing horrible.
ruined my night now.
