Default Which one?

Before too long i am going to move up from a v6 to a v8 and i was wondering if the 4.6 or the 5.0 was easier to get the power out of. </P>

I dont care if it is a fox or the current style.</P>

And i definately dont have the csh for a cobra.</P>

I'd go for a Fox. I think it's cheaper and easier to get power from the 302. Plus from what I hear the bottom end (stock) is really tough and can stand up to a lot of abuse.

94-95 is what i'd get if you like the 5.0 and the 94-98 body style. the 5.0's are good for raw power because of the OHV design, wich is a lower revving torque monster. more parts out there too.

I'd go for the 88-93 (or older if you don't mind converting to maf) myself. It's a classic. The sn95 is a bit too round for me.

Thanks.

Would you believe $3550 on ebay?
I ended up spending more fixing it up than I needed to, but it's going to be an awesome ride when it's done.

I'd go with the fox body that's in good condition, or restore one. There are fewer of them around that's in good shape, and in my opinion they are the best looking. To me they just seem more racier, but the newer ones look more musclular. I guess it's just a matter of preference there. Also, I think the fox body was the last original idea, before they started going retro on the newer ones.<edited><editID>roush97</editID><editDate>37832.9931597222</editDate></edited>
