Man, I hate the thought of this being my first post but I gotta let ya know... (I apologize if I posted in wrong place)

I just wanted to let ya'll know to beware of an Ebay store, O E Wheel Distributors.

I was looking for wheels for my 06 GT, I came across an Ebay store called O E Wheel Distributors. I saw a set of 18x9 Gunmetal Saleen wheels w/Chrome Rivets, awesome looking wheels. The discription stated that they would fit 1994-2005 Mustangs, so I called them using their toll free number to inquire if these wheels would fit an 06, I was told that they would fit, "no problem", so I made the order right there on the phone. (Can't leave negative feedback on Ebay now)

I received the wheels about a week later, to find out they have a 24mm offset which I found out should be 36mm for the 05's and 06's. I called them and told them that the wheels do not fit an 06 Mustang properly, they told me "they will fit, it may not be to your liking". They refuse to accept that they were wrong and expect me to pay for shipping and restocking. If all that isn't bad enough, the owner of this outfit has no respect for their customers.

I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, which I found out O E Wheels, already has an unsatisfactory record with them. So please beware.

I bought my set from a local dealer that sells that brand. The set I have are for the 05-06 cars. I don't have any problems with mine. It sounds like you got the set made for the 94-04 models. If you paid by a credit card have them dispute it. You were definitely sold a set of wheels that do not correctly fit the 05-06 mustangs.

I've heard bad things about them from time to time. It wasn't about customer service, but about the quality of the wheels themselves. That was a year or so ago, so the quality issue may have been resolved, but sounds like they have some people working there giving out bad information and they aren't taking responsibility where need be.

I personally would never buy from them after hearing the negative experiences. I hope you work yours out though, and thanks for the heads up to those members who maybe were thinking of buying.

That was a terrible response saying that they will fit but maybe not to your liking! They may fit but not look correct or hit something but they fit!?
The BEST is wheelreplicas.com
I have done eBay and direct business and they really took care of me. Being a repeat customer I got my CHROME 17"x8"/10.5" FR5's for $579.
They also beat the tire rack on the Sumitomo's I got also. Now they are running a special with a SS catback for $549. that includes 4 18" x 9" Black Fr5's! Much more, check them out and Greg gave me excellent service.
Sorry to welcome you here this way but there are many vendors and we have some good ones that support us, maybe some not so good but membership that will give you their experience and there are a LOT of members! Mark

bought the cobra 10.5" and 9 X 17 from oe wheels, by mistake they sent me 2- 5 bolt and 2- 4 bolt rims. refunded and sent 2 more 5 bolt to replace the wrong 4 bolt rims a good e-bay experience.my problen has been with Niche_performance _industries They sold me a fiberglass hood jan 6/07, I  have yet to recieve it. The amount of bull this guy gives would feed a large country.missing people missing hoods missing companys.I've put a dispute in paypal so I won't lose my cash but the dealings with his guy isn't worth the trouble. He says he won't release/ship the hood untill I drop the paypal dispute! as if that will ever happen. So beware of this guy(unless your bored and want  to get  screwed around . He mass / e-mailed me as if I'd sponser him on here(mustang forums) to sell his hoods!never buy from this guy.ever

Yes, Thanx for the heads up about O E Wheel Distributors. Its a damn shame too cuz I was eyeing those Cobra R wheels with rivets that they sell. I was planning on buying some FR500's from Wheel Replicas until I saw those. I just think the rivets make the wheel look kick ass! Now I'm torn between risking a bad customer experience for the wheels I really want or just playing it safe and going with the FR500's from Wheels Replicas.

I was looking at those same rims for my 2004 Roush.  I am looking for 2 18x9 and 2 18x10 though.

If you still have those rims you bought, you can just buy spacers to make up the difference in the offset...    you will just need to get 12mm of spacers, search the internet for wheel spacers, they aren't too expensive.

Best of luck,

Sorry about last post, got confused on the offset, the wheels you bought will be sticking out too far by 12mm not the other way... spacers would not help your situation... sorry

I bought a set of black Bullitt wheels from OE Wheel 2 years ago and they fit fine and still look great. The tires were pretty cheap, but I knew that at the time. Tires and wheels are holding up great though.
