show me where you found a lightning running a 13.8 on stock tires and then well talk, smartass. Racing isnt all about the car vs car aspect, reaction times, launching, etc etc have ALOT to do with it. Dont be so ****ing quick to call everybodys bluff. He may have exaggerrated a lil bout how much he won, but i can believe a car or so.....

Tell me about it!!! There are so many people in here that just knows it all! I was telling the story of how I beat a Mach1 to the end of the track a few weekends ago and 2000GT4.6 just got his panties all in a wad! I couldnt believe how much of a fight he put up just to call me a liar with out coming out and saying it. Why are people like that??? Guess we'll never know! [:@]

you know i think 2001 lightnings only get 14.2 stock. but what ever. you know what JD i think ppl get it in there head that a certain car runs this time and they think anyone can get that time. and they think that they will run that time every time they race there car. thats not real world. alot of ppl in florida run mach1s in the high 13s and low 14s some in the mid to low 13s. so if a GT was running that car and ran his car better than he could. he would actually win. right? racing on the street alot can happen. one can get a jump on the light or one could get a bad launch. so just becasue a car is supposed to have more power than the other dosent mean he will win the race.

Acutally what you said was your car was ahead of mach 1s and cobras at the end of the quarter mile, and you were arguing that your car is faster than both of them. Only after I called you on it did you finally (now) admit it was totally due to massive driver error on the mach 1s part

Good kill man, It's definetely possible... if you put that much distance between you he probably can't drive. I was playing with an SRT-10 Ram the other day, couldn't do much 4:30 on friday afternoon bumper to bumper but we'd both wait til the cars would get a little ways out in front of us and kinda get on it, this guy was super cool too he was probably about mid 40s with his wife and son in the truck, but from what I was seeing it woulda been a good race neither of us were getting out in front much it was all about who got on it first, that thing sounded mean though. BTW I had a passenger too and I drive an 03 GT 5spd.

When did I ever call him out? I asked him a question and asked for some mods and a dyno sheet. Did I say "thats bull**** there's no way!" ??? no...

Just becuase you think I want to start something doesn't mean I am. Take a deep breath and settle down, 5.0. The funny thing is, I asked on here about how quick a lightning is and everyone was saying 13.8... and to further back it up...

www.car-stats.com:

2001 Ford F-150 Lightning
Transmission: Automatic
0-60: 5.2
1/4 Mile: 13.8
1/4 Speed: 104

Thank you. Drive through, and quit being so damn touchy.

Funny that you are saying that, considering alittle while ago you wanted to prove how wrong I was.

I dont remember saying a thing to you, I have only seen you in here a couple times. If I did then im sorry and probably had a better reason to do so.

And for 2000GT4.6 I said I was side by side with the Cobra's and Mach1's and beat one Mach1 a couple weeks ago if I remember correctly.

Jesus people, cant we quitr arguing about what our cars do. just like 04mustang said in his last post here... its really up to the driver and not so much the power!
