I have a 94 gt 5.0 ho it has msd 6a ignition, msd pro billet distributor, Mac cold air intake, flowmasters, summit off road h pipe, bbk headers(shorty), 4.10 gears, underdrive pulleys , 255 lph fuel pump, and zex 125 nitrous system. Ive done all the work myself and know what im doing but the car just wont run right. everytime i punch it it makes alot of noise revs up high but doesnt go any where but if i put the peddle down maybe a 1/4 of the way it goes ok but not great. but the weird thing is that i just found out if i drive it for a while then turn it off i can get one or two good runs with it and it takes off. if anyone has ANY clue of why this is happening i will try pretty much anything to get it runnin like it does when i turn it off and on. thanx

Sounds like your timing and/or fuel mixture if off. Did you change your fuel pressure when you put the new pump in? I assume you've made some a/f/timing adjustments since your running juice?

i know its not the timeing almost 100% on that cause ive done soooo many checks on that cause thats what i thought it was at first and yeah it is retarded 10degrees i think for the juice and the air/fuel is what i have been comin to but now that when i turn it off and on again it runs real good. do u think the comp could be messin with it or something?? cause if i turn it off then on it runs good but like 5 min later it will be runnin crappy again.

Well you said you'll punch it and it revs high but you dont go anyways.. sounds like a clutch problem to me..

well its auto so that wouldnt be it but like i said if i turn it off and on it runs good. so im thinkin its electrical and i know no1 that has had this problem

Sounds like your tranny is slipping to me. Have you done anything to help your tranny handle the extra power of the motor?

i forgot to say i put a trans go shift kit in it but i dont think its the tranny cause when its runnin bad the engine sputters real bad. could the tranny be makin the engine do that?
