I am wanting to put the tri bar emblems on my vert. I do not have the Pony P and dont want to try to be a poser but I really like the tri bar. Which emblems look better in person...the Pony P ones or the OEM remakes of the 65 - 66 or 67 - 68 ?? I am looking for brighter colors and of corse ones that dont have the 289 or 302 or anything like that. Looking for opinions from you guys (and girls). Again, not trying to posebut even aliens fromanother planet would recognize the tri bar = American Muscle !! Wanting them to be sticker type no pins=no holes.

I dont think it would be considered posing at all. Look at your steering wheel. It's already there. Even the GT has the tri-bar. TRI-BARS ARE FAIR GAME ON ANY STANG IMHO.

I prefer the 67-68 resto ones, I got them on my ride and no drilling required. Got them here:

Yup, same as Rygen. 3M tape and a tape measure is all you need.

I think mine came from an 04 or something like that. They came with 3m tape already on them. All I had to do was grind off the tabs on the back. They are smaller than the pony package emblems which I like better anyway. I've had them on for over a year now and they are still suck on there great. BTW my car lives outside in the rain sun heat and snow.

What else is on your fender by the running ponies? I can't quite see it clearly in your sig pic.

    BEAUSTANG,

The car came with door edge protectors, that might be what you see in the photos.

It's a Mustang script from I think a 65 or 66. I think I got those from mustangpartshouse.com. They were the 1 piece script. I had to grind off the tabs and put 3M tape on the back for them to stick.

I got the pony package and I am wanting to take off my tri-bars, put one on my grill, and stick "245" where the tri-bars are. On autobadges.com web site, they say there is a hole behind the emblem......is that for the 05,06 or the 232 ci engine?

Yeah the 245ci is for the 2005-06 V6 stangs and the 232 is for the 1999-03 V6 Stangs, Oh forgot that the 04 V6 stangs are 238.
