You have to remember that more horsepower to the rear wheels doesn't necessarily mean it's a faster car. The Viper has most of its weight in the front because it is a front engine car. It will spin its tires through third gear while the GT is almost out of sight. The reason the viper has those 1/4 and 0-60 times is because they used slicks when testing. you would have to at least use cheater slicks to get a decent time. The GT on the other hand has a mid-engine. Most of the weight is distributed towards the rear wheels. Also, the Viper is by no means a track car. The GT is bread to do just that.

This has it beat... 1012rwhp/898 rwtq TT GT. The video is long but it's well worth it!!! This is the guy (Tony @ HP) who tuned my car after the motor swap. Last I heard they're beefing up the motor some more and upgrading turbos to get to 1300+ rwhp!!! If only I had that kind of money...

I wouldnt give hennessey my 1977 international scout. The guy is a crook! do a search about him on google or go to the viper forums. The guy is known for screwing people over. It makes me sick that this guy is still in good standings with the public. It makes me sicker that he is from the same city as me.
