Status: offline www.peripheralelectronics.com Fixed their part and has been in the market for a few months with no problems. Yes it works on all Mustangs Shaker 500, 1000, and standard.

Status: offline ...if you want to play your Ipod through the car then why not just use a cord and plug it into the hole in the center console, next to the 2nd cig adapter?

Sure, you dont get the words flash across the radio dash, but who cares?

I bought a cord at walmart that costs 2 dollars and can play my ipod in the car..

Maybe you can justify spending any more than that?

Status: offline sorry but the geniuses at Ford didn't include that special plug outlet in the 2005-2006 models!

Plus, it's probably lots safer to be able to change songs, albums and such through the standard radio, even though they won't give us steering mounted controls.

I finally broke down and bought a Creative 7GB player for only 60 bucks and can't get over how cool it is to travel with all my music and comedy records! Just need to be able to get it into my car stereo.
