5.0 vs. Audi A4
Right after my run with the Ford GT(read previous post) I get a call from a buddy of mine to hang out. After a while, we decided to run our cars. I have a 1990 5.0 LX with exhaust only, he has an A4 with race clutch, upgraded intercooler and im not sure what else. First run we did from about 25. We both took off pretty even, but as soon as I shifted up into 3rd, I started pulling on him pretty well. I heard his turbo spool up a little and looked back expecting him to catch up, but I just kept going. I took him by 1 1/2 cars.
2nd run was from 10. Same exact thing as the first run from 25 except it was only 1 car difference. 3rd was from a stop. This was much different. I'm not sure if he got a proper launch because he didnt take off like id expect. Took that one by about 3 cars. This was a really fun night. First with the Ford GT now with the Audi. Those were my first 2 races, or playing fast with other cars. I am done for now except for track racing.
