Default NEWBIE deciding on a 5.0

Hey every one, as you can tell iam a noobie. </P>

Right now i am trying to convince myself, to buy an 89 LX 5.0- </P>

5 speed. i really don't have the $$$$ for it, but it is an oportunity of a life time!!! </P>

To be honest with everyone i am not the biggest fan of FORDs, not saying i hate them but i am more of a Gm guy... BUT I really admire, and love the mustang and it's past.</P>

</P>

My frist order of busness is... should i get one... the lady is asking $7000(canadian) for it. It has a moon roof, new clutch, brakes all around, it has 88 000 Kms and she is the original owner!!! </P>

WHAT Should I DO??? <IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"></P>

</P>

I dunno.... $7000 for 88,000km sounds decent, especially if she's the original owner.... I'd offer her $5500 because of the age and see what she says. And for an '89, I'm getting the picture that she hasn't really driven the car to it's full potential.... if you know what I mean! <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>r3gan</editID><editDate>37833.5739236111</editDate></edited>

NO WAY!!!!....thats too much cash to be paying for a Fox car. For 7k you can get a 90s model.

so did you buy one yet? <IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"></P>

Just bought myself an 83 5.0 mustang converable for $3500CAN. with 106,000KM. I think $7000 is way to much. Try the autotrader.ca it sometimes has good cars for ok $$$$.</P>
