RE: Question about a switch.
Once a gt is sold, it stays a gt. -Meaning that once a gt, always a gt. Official Saleens come numbered from the factory, so the only way a mustang can be converted to an official, numbered Saleen, is to buy one that was done through Saleen. You could find someone to 'convert' a gt to a Saleen od Roush, but it would be a clone, not a real one. If a clone is done correctly, it could be as good a car as a true Saleen,(or better) but it still isn't a real Saleen. -If someone wants a Saleen or Roush, and doesn't care about resale value, go ahead and do a clone. It could save you a little $. If you care at all about resale value, you'll wish it was a real Saleen or Roush. Good deals are out there to be had on Saleens and Roushs, new and used.
