Default engine help??

my engine is making a clicking sound ever since i did a burnout for a friend. Any time I hit about 3,000 rpms it click's... the bad thing about it is that it seems to lack some performance since then too.. It's really distinctable when i rev it up or am near the 3k rpm range which isn't cool at all... any idea's as to what it is? If i keep driving it then sometimes it wil even click near 1000 rpms that low... heh any help?

Default RE: engine help??

Just one click? Or a constant tick? Could be an exaust leak. But worse comes to worse, could be a rocker or lifter collapsed.

Might also be the pilot bearing. They have a clicking or chirping sound to them when bad.
